If I recall correctly, which would be unusual, Al Gore, with almost 51 million, was said to have received the most votes for President ever last time (unless Reagan beat him in '84?). But George W. Bush will certainly get more votes than Gore did.

No, I'm wrong--Reagan got over 54 million. Doubtful Bush can get to there.

If turnout is 120 million and Bush gets ~50%, that's 60 million by my math.

As of right now 02:30 EST, Bush has 53.2 million (51%) with "87% Precincts reporting". Think he's going to get the record.
