I wouldn't be so confident. The tide seems to be turning against President Bush in the upper MidWest, after initially looking good. I can't believe Bush lost so badly in PA. As She Who Is Perfect In All Ways says, it's all down to Ohio now and the Kerry campaign has achieved late polling with the bussing in of "voters".

Bush can't do it without Ohio. And if New Mexico doesn't come through, everything may ride on Hawaii (and perhaps a certain WV elector).

Yes, the margins in every state in the upper midwest are a little surprising, though I have no idea whence those votes come in their respective states. Perhaps Bush strongholds haven't been counted yet. Perhaps. WI and IA look possible, MN and probably MI are out of reach unless there are substantial Bush votes yet to be counted...nailbiting time.

It's time for me to crash out, but Bush could still win without Ohio if he gets IA, WI, NM and AK. I would dearly enjoy Bush getting those states and watching Kerry pursue a pointless legal exercise in OH, further damaging the Democratic Party.

I don't what you guys are worried about. Bush has taken Ohio, and with it, the nation.
