THE SCIENTIFIC MIND AT WORK...:
Science too slow on mobile phone cancer risk: expert (AP, 24th July 2008)
The head of a prominent cancer research institute issued an unprecedented warning, telling staff to limit mobile phone use because of the possible risk of cancer.Posted by Orrin Judd at July 24, 2008 11:30 AMUniversity of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute director Ronald Herberman said it took long to get answers from science and people should take action now — especially when it comes to children.
Dr Herberman's warning is contrary to numerous US studies that don’t find a link between increased tumors and mobile phone use...
To combat global warming with recommendations the warm-mongers suggest would wreck the economies and destroy livelihoods. But to combat possible cancer causing effects from cellphone use only requires users to use an earpiece, which has the additional advantage of letting the hands free to drive the cars. What have we to lose if cellpone use does not cause cancer? But there is much to gain if it does. Yes, in this case, it's ok and prudent to "sentence first, verdict afterward".
In the fifties, no one suspected radioative materials cause cancer. Even in the 70's graduate students still use pipet and their mouths to suck up radioactive chemicals for experiments. My brother-in-law did that. It takes time to evaluate a new technology. In the mean times, we should be careful, so that we don't regret later.

Except I can't find anyone who will take my advertising. I suspect it's because a side effect is that they block the CIA's mind control rays, too.
