"This year, about 120,000 to 150,000 people are expected to vote in the Democratic caucuses, while 80,000 to 90,000 are likely to participate in the Republican contest."

That's fewer than live in many large apartment complexes.

It's farcical and meaningless, but media hype has resulted in make work projects for pols during the slow season. I read each vote will cost about $200 bringing the total spent to over forty million dollars! Outrageous.
