The Wife's car actually came with the alarm disabled because, as the dealer acknowledged, no one here uses one. But this will save much embarrassment as regards the family mobile.

Yes, but's too much fun to set off the panic button when the kids are standing next to the car, not paying attention.

OTOH, since I've gotten older and my hearing is going, I can't hear the car yelping to me anyway.
Posted by: ray at May 4, 2007 11:16 PMRay, on a lot of remotes you can just double-click the lock button and it will give you a honk/light flash. I use the "yelp" feature as well to locate my vehicle when I forgot which floor I parked on in a garage.
