WHATEVER HE'S INSIDE OF ISN'T THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY:
Rightist Indignation: GOP Insider Vic Gold Launches a Broadside at the State of the Party (Michael Abramowitz, April 2, 2007, Washington Post)
Under Bush and Cheney, he argues, the GOP has moved away from principles of small government, prudent foreign policy and leaving people alone to live their private lives -- all views Gold associates with his hero, Goldwater. "Invasion of the Party Snatchers" makes plain Gold's contempt for the direction of his party and the guidance of its leaders.
Sometimes you wonder if the libertarians are aware that AUH2O got his head handed to him and it's Reagan's party instead, which means strong government, crusading foreign policy, and a moral agenda. If you want isolationism, license and smaller government you need to vote Democrat. Posted by Orrin Judd at April 4, 2007 12:09 AM

Exactly right. The juvenile disorder which is libertinism is not more than less than a prescription for serfdom. Let them start talking about tearing up Social Security cards and watch the country fall under the boot of the left for another long nightmare.
