THE NEOCON IN THE MOON

NASA plans probe to blast into moon in water hunt (Irene Klotz, Reuters, 4/10/06)

NASA plans to send a two-ton probe crashing into a crater on the moon in hopes of discovering if it harbors water that could be used for manned missions, the U.S. space agency said on Monday.

The $73 million probe, to be built by Northrop Grumman Corp., is set to be launched in 2008 aboard a rocket also carrying a sophisticated lunar mapper.

Seymour Hersh is able to exclusively report that, at the behest of American big water interests, President Bush is considering using nukes on the moon.

Wait a second... wasn't China putting together a space program themselves? Maybe we're planning a pre-emptive strike on their evil Commie moonbase, and when they complain, we'll shrug and say, "We told you about it way back in oh-six..."
