BUILDING HIS OWN SARKOPHAGUS:

Humiliation for French government: Trade unions and protesters in France are claiming victory after the French government performed a complete U-turn on its controversial youth jobs law. (Caroline Wyatt, 4/11/06, BBC News)

The measure had provoked weeks of protests, until finally, Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin conceded defeat and said he would find other ways of reducing the numbers of young jobless.

You never want to be like a son to a mentor who'd push his own progeny off the last lifeboat leaving the Titanic.

I watched Hardtalk on BBC last evening.(Don't blame me it's the only Foreign channel I can get)where they interviewed a spokesman for the students. He claims the demonstration were victorious but not over yet. They decided to keep them rolling as there are other "unacceptable" issues as important as CEF.

If the spokesman represents the masses they have no idea of their position in relation to the cliff.
