Do you spend more time working with a certain colleague of the opposite sex than with your own family? On weekends, do you think about sending an e-mail or phoning this person just to "touch base"?Are you secretive about how much time you spend together because you're worried about perceptions -- either at work or at home?

They're replacing the phone lines all the way up the hill and down our cul-de-sac. I once heard somewhere that it's polite to wave to the flag guy on a road crew so he knows you see him and are slowing down. Posted by: John Resnick at March 3, 2006 1:29 PMThe underlying issue is a serious matter, as reflected in our national divorce rate. Recognizing the dangers inherent in male-female working relationships, and taking steps to confront and contain those dangers, seems pretty sensible to moi.
