Normally I would agree, but it looks like the Palestinians are in the final throes of the self destruction of their society and international support. And if your enemies are hanging themselves, never hesitate to donate more rope.
Plus, as long as Israel proceeds to implement its own security measures (the wall, the buffer zone) it makes sense to give in on minor things like this, once enough attention has been drawn to it to mask the important things.
It'll go on until they give in and make Palestine a nation.

I must respectfully disagree.
The simple truth that seems to have gotten lost over the years, is that their prime objective is to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

Israel is trying to come to an accommodation with her neighbors. Ain't gonna happen. They have to figure out another course of action, preferably one the causes a lot of Palestinians to assume room temperature.
