MUST THE CIA BE POLITICIZED? (via Kevin Whited):
PLAME'S ANTI-W. MONEY (DEBORAH ORIN, July 27, 2005, NY Post)
Outed CIA spy Valerie Plame last fall gave a campaign contribution to go toward an anti-Bush fund-raising concert starring Bruce Springsteen, it was revealed last night. It's the first revelation that Plame participated in anti-Bush political activity while working for the CIA.
The $372 donation to the anti-Bush group America Coming Together, first reported by Time magazine's Web site, was made in Plame's married name of Valerie E. Wilson and covered two tickets.
The Federal Election Commission record lists her occupation as "retired" even though she's still a CIA staffer.
It's not beyond the realm of possibility that MoveOn, ActUp, and the rest of them are just CIA fronts. Posted by Orrin Judd at July 27, 2005 9:24 AM
She'll have to resign, right?

Posted by: ghostcat at July 27, 2005 11:47 AMUnlikely. Oswald prefers to act alone.
Posted by: joe shropshire at July 27, 2005 12:29 PMPerhaps one of the people Joe Wilson met in Niger was Adnan Khashoggi.
Or maybe he just stoked a few with The Smoking Man, under the umbrella, by the pool, late at night, surrounded by mercenaries with automatic rifles, sipping hard liquor and eating pretzels.
Has anyone ever checked to see if Valerie was in Niger? Did she have any 'relationships' with government officials there?

lee thought he was acting alone. but that's what makes our country great. someone's always got your back.
I always thought Oswald's backup was Bill Moyers.
Posted by: ratbert at July 27, 2005 1:50 PMReason #953 why we should merely close the CIA and fire all its employees down to the custodial staff.
Posted by: bart at July 27, 2005 8:27 PMStopped by to see if Orrin even bought this Bruce Springsteen rock-bottom B.S., and he didn't disappoint.
EVERY article about these concerts interviewed all the Republicans who ponied up at these shows for the chance to see Springsteen and the rest of the bill.
But Plame's presence at these concerts becomes dispositive of...something.
Sad.

Read it and weep--

Sure fire sign of a conspiracy-monger, he believes the anonymous junk he reads on the internet....
Indeed, fear of Proctor and Gamble is a classic form of psychoses:
