THE BAATH SUBSIDIARY TO OUR NORTH:

The Canadian company that Saddam Hussein invested a million dollars in belonged to the Prime Minister of Canada, canadafreepress.com has discovered.

Cordex Petroleum Inc., launched with Saddam’s million by Prime Minister Paul Martin’s mentor Maurice Strong’s son Fred Strong, is listed among Martin’s assets to the Federal Ethics committee on November 4, 2003.

Among Martin’s Public Declaration of Declarable Assets are: "The Canada Steamship Lines Group Inc. (Montreal, Canada) 100 percent owned"; "Canada Steamship Lines Inc. (Montreal, Canada) 100 percent owned"–Cordex Petroleums Inc. (Alberta, Canada) 4.6 percent owned by the CSL Group Inc."

Steady on, all. This just might be a blockbuster, the uncovering of which could be blown by rhetorical overreach. I talked to a local journalist (decent leftist) here today who agreed everyone was asleep at the switch but mentioned that a few biggy journalists are starting to get on the case. I would be grateful if anyone who sees anything pertinent in the blogosphere e-mails it to me.

"I am today announcing that an expiditionary force consisting of military personnel from the US and our partners in several Carribbean nations will advance into Alberta, Ontario and New Brunswick at midnight tonight. We are not at war with Canada, we are going in there only to assess and stabilize the political situation there. Thank you."

Please elaborate on how this is a moral lapse? Anyway, it's not directly Martin who received the money, the person who did receive it didn't neccessarily know where it came from, and we never claimed that he was that great anyway.
