KEYES 17, OBAMA 1:

How would Jesus vote? Keyes can't presume to know (CATHLEEN FALSANI, September 10, 2004, Chicago Sun-Times)

When the media flaks have to defend you from the Christ Himself you're getting out-campaigned.

OJ,

You are drinking some strong kool aid. Keyes is crashing and burning here. He has managed to ignore every piece of advice from his supporters, barked at friendly talk show hosts, and made an ass out of himself in NY (no, I'm not talking about the Mary Cheney comment)

By the time he is done, the pro-life libertarian will probably out poll him.

It's not about him. It's about Obama.

Note that the offended Sun-Times religion writer quotes Keyes, but doesn't include the question to which he apparently was responding. So was this "how would Jesus" vote bit a soliloquy, or an answer to some reporter's question. And if we have "no way of knowing" how Jesus [might] have voted, why do we bother reading Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Paul? Did they or didn't they record some words of Jesus?

Either way, Keyes is adding some color to the usual fixed-by-the-machine Illinois campaign.

Orrin, now you're just toying with us.
