Feminists Compare Bush's 2000 Election Victory to 'Savage Rape' (Marc Morano, September 02, 2004, CNSNews.com)

A featured performer at a National Organization for Women rally accused President Bush of having "savagely raped " women "over and over" by allegedly stealing the 2000 presidential election.

Poet Molly Birnbaum read aloud to a crowd of feminists gathered in New York's Central Park on Wednesday night, as part of a NOW event dubbed "Code Red: Stop the Bush Agenda Rally."

"Imagine a way to erase that night four years ago when you (President Bush) savagely raped every pandemic woman over and over with each vote you got, a thrust with each state you stole," Birnbaum said from the podium. (If something is pandemic, it affects many people or a number of countries.)

"A smack with each bill you passed, a tear with each right you took until you left me disenfranchised with hands shackled and voice restrained. Thanks for that night, Mr. President, I can barely remember my tomorrows," Birnbaum said to applause.


Wasn't the main point to come out of the unsuccessful Clinton impeachment that being a violent rapist is not a disqualifier for the American presidency?

I saw this elsewhere and was impressed by the pornographic imagery in it.

I still don't understand what a "pandemic woman" is. Does Birnbaum view women as infectious agents attacking society?

I think it's interesting the way feminists have gone so far to teach people that rape is a truly horrible crime and not just "boys will be boys" and then they turn around an use it as an analogy for everything in the world that irritates them.

I can't tell you how very offensive this is to a normal non-radical-feminist woman. It's disgusting. (And what other state do they think Bush "stole"? I don't know of any disputed state except Florida.)

No, it proved that if you vote liberally, particularly on feminist issues, you can buy your way out of even the most heinous of crimes. It's a different payment than the usual, but the profession is still the same. The oldest one.

Yet more proof that the Left in general, not just feminists, are coming emotionally unhinged due to the implosion of John Kerry. Talk about incoherent. I really expected her to start ranting like Bela Lugosi in one of Edward D. Wood's movies.
