NOT NIXON, CARTER:

Kerry's Sister: Teenage Alexandra Influenced Gulf War Vote (NewsMax, 7/31/04)

When Sen. John Kerry was weighing whether to support the first Gulf War resolution authorizing President Bush's father to use military force to chase Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait, he relied on the advice of his then-teenage daughter Alexandra, Kerry's sister Peggy has revealed.

In a 1996 interview with The Boston Phoenix, Peggy Kerry admitted, "Alexandra's advice during a 1990 Christmas dinner influenced the senator's decision to vote against a Gulf War resolution" - according to a Boston Globe report that same year.

A replay of the Amy Carter incident. Don't the Dems ever change? What does it say when their most influential foreign policy advisors are children?

Agree JD. Says a lot about Kerry (and others) when they base their votes on the opinions of teenagers. Frankly I disregard political opinions from most people under 25 because they haven't a clue as to what they are talking about.

This is why you pick Dick Cheney to be your Vice Persident and you do not take advice from your teen age daughters:

Pirkie Avot 3:25. He (Yehudah ben Tema)used to say: A five-year-old begins Scripture; a ten-year-old begins Mishnah; a thirteen-year-old becomes obliged to observe the commandments; a fifteen-year-old begins the study of Gemara; an eighteen-year-old goes to the marriage canopy; a twenty-year-old begins pursuit [of a livelihood]; a thirty-year-old attains full strength; a forty-year-old attains understanding; a fifty-year-old can offer counsel; a sixty year-old attains seniority; a seventy-year-old attains a ripe old age; an eighty-year-old shows strength [Psalm 90:10]; a ninety-year-old becomes stooped over; a hundred-year-old is as if he were dead, passed away and ceased from the world.

When will the Democrats realize that Karenna Schiff Gore and Alessandra Kerry et. al. are not mindful of normal America?
