PLEASE, [DON'T] COME TO BOSTON...:

Dems disinvite 20 Web loggers (CBS MarketWatch, 7/12/04)

The Democratic National Committee has rescinded invitations to 20 Web loggers to attend its national convention in Boston late this month.

Now what are we supposed to do on our Summer vacation?

ESR was hoping to have a person at the Dem convention but unfortunately they didn't approve our request.

Given that Bostonians will be fleeing Boston as much as they can during the DNC convention the Dems shouldn't turn anyone away.

Too bad -- the bloggers were probably the only ones going to the convention who the Democrats would have wanted to pay the full cab fares from Logan...
