WHEN REALITY IS TOO FRIGHTENING:

Nearly one in four French people are on tranquillisers, antidepressants, antipsychotics or other mood-altering prescription drugs, according to an alarming report published yesterday.

They need to up the dosage.

Good lord, I just have to go live in France for a while, to see if they really do suck as badly as I think they do.

They don't. Live in a semi-rural area, and you'll enjoy it.

Of course, that's from the perspective of one who can escape at any time.
