Well, it's not a "fun" ending, but I like how it ends with a serious question. Sure we can have a nice laugh, but all kidding aside, etc. If they'd just gone for a zinger, it might have come off as too frivolous and smartass.

When you're fed material by the man himself demonstrating what a doofus he is, it's a mistake to even bring up the question of leadership. And asking is he "ready" implies that at some point this total lightweight will in fact be ready to lead. Mistake.

You either let the statements hang in the air for the audience to recognize them for what they are, or you cut to the chase and point out that these are the statements of a colossal goof who has no business running for dogcatcher let alone POTUS.
