HEY, SINCE THEY AREN'T HUMAN WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL:

Nurse gave wrong woman abortion (BBC, 7/18/08)

A nurse who gave a chemical abortion to a patient who had only come for a consultation has been cautioned.

Ann Downer, based at the Calthorpe Clinic in Edgbaston, Birmingham, failed to check the woman's personal details before giving her the drug.

The woman was recalled when Ms Downer realised her mistake but the drug had already taken effect.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council said she could keep her job but would have a caution on her record for three years.

It's the blasde tone of the story that's most chilling.

This case would make a good law school Sub Crim Law exam question; "What crimes have been committed ?"

Easy, Mr. Gots, Vandalism! You have destroyed somebodies property.

We will soon start seeing stories out of Oregon with wrong "doctor-assisted suicides".

So they gave an abortion to a woman who had "only come for a consultation" to have an abortion, i.e. she actually wanted to kill her baby on her next visit. I'm all for shining a spotlight on the evils of abortion mills, I mean clinics, but given that the Democrats are going to nominate a guy who's pro-infanticide and one of his rumored VP options is Dr. Tiller's favorite politician, this isn't the most outrageous thing that one could focus on.

The blase tone is the siren song of the Culture of Death. Make the killing mundane and they will kill 'til the shift whistle sounds.
