WAS ANYONE IN CIVICS CLASS ON THE DAY...:

The Pastor Returns (Howard Kurtz, 4/25/08, Washington Post)

Barack Obama needed this like he needed a root canal.

Just when the Jeremiah Wright furor seemed to be dying down, the ex-pastor is back and suddenly inescapable. On the tube with Bill Moyers. Speaking to the NAACP. Showing up Monday at the National Press Club.

There it was yesterday, that endless loop of Wright shouting "God damn America" over and over. Yet another opportunity to talk about how he thinks the US of KKK-A created the AIDS virus to kill blacks.

...that they explained how a presidential candidate could keep his mentor and religion hidden from the voters?

All these Obama stories have me tearing out what's left of my hair. Doesn't anybody know how to run an effing ambush around here?

Now there's a risk the effendi may voluntarily drop out, and beseech his entourage to pull together to spite the white devils who denied him the presidency.

And those people had been walking, fat, dumb and happy, right into our killing zone. Damn, damn, damn!!!!

Lou:

Nothing lasts forever, Mr. Bond.

The funniest part of this mess is that the supposedly "experienced" Left commentariat (Susan Estrich, Donna Brazile, etc.) have publicly said that all will be well if the two run together (Obama-Clinton). Ha! That ticket would do even worse than, say, Obama-Nunn, or Obama-Dingell, or Obama-Landrieu or any other manufactured pair.

Two negatives will just cause more drag.
