CONFUSION TO THE ENEMY (via Bryan Francoeur)
Dean says he's committed to seating Florida's delegates (CNN, 4/03/08)
Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean said Wednesday the party would "absolutely seat" a Florida delegation when it meets in August in Colorado for the national convention.Posted by Orrin Judd at April 4, 2008 8:50 AM"It is my commitment, working with the Florida delegation and the campaigns, to find a fair solution so that Florida will be seated -- and we are confident enough that we have reserved hotel rooms for the delegates from Florida in Denver," he said.
It will come down to the Credentials Committee and who is picked to be on it. The kind of backroom shenanigans where the Clintons are nonpareil.
Posted by: Gideon7 at April 4, 2008 11:08 AMWhat's the word about the Michigan delegation? I wonder why Dean would mention one but not the other, except that Obama was on the ballot in FL but MI.
