WHAT? NO PROMISE OF A WORLD WITHOUT FEAR?:

1) I'm glad it made it clear at the end (in the fine print) that Teddy Roosevelt wasn't necessarily endorsing McCain.
2) The speech had a bit of John F and a bit of Bobby, didn't it? First you got a variation of "Ask not what your country can do for you" and then a slide into "I see things how they could be and say Why Not?"
3) And what was the deal with the space imagery? I thought I was watching a Scientology training video.

But my snarky riffing aside, it was a good ad. And hey, when was the last time you saw a campaign ad that showed the candidate smoking?

That was a very nice answer to Obama's entire campaign. "You want hope? Let me talk to you about hope."

And at the end there, not "Yes, we can", but "We will."

I thought it was a good ad also, it certainly reinforced his image as an adult when it comes to foreign policy.

I also caught the image of released POW McCain with a smoke.
