Obama makes gay ad buys in Ohio, Texas (, 2/27/08)

On a sober note: if Effendi Obama is getting beaten up like this on this site, where we practice such moderation and restraint, one shudders to consider how he is treated elsewhere.

Let McCain chastise those who remind the public of Obama's background. The knives are still being sharpened.

I thought the "Hussein" thing was over the top, until I saw a commenter at The Anchoress remind us how the Dems named Piyush Jindal every time a camera was near down in LA. Let some Dem criticize that before they get all jumpy about Barack Hussein Obama.

Heck, he's gotten off light compared to Cabana Boy, you're just surprised he gets it at all.

Condemning someone for saying Hussein allows you to say Hussein without making yourself look bad by saying Hussein.

"I hereby condemn these vile allegations that claim my opponent is a drunk, an adulterer, and a pervert. Never would I want to be associated with someone who has called my worthy opponent a drunk, an adulterer, and a pervert..."

All you need to know about Election '08 is that the GOP's candidate has a nickname that is how the Democrats are trying to describe themselves while the Democrats both ave middle names that are political liabilities.

A sharp wit elsewhere (unfortunately I cannot remember to attribute it) was referring to Obama as He-who-must-not-be-middle-named.
