IF YOU WANT US TO STAND DOWN, STAND UP:
A Blow Against Al-Qaeda, Musharraf (Aryn Baker, 2/01/08, TIME)
[The death of Abu Laith al-Libi is] also an embarrassment for President Pervez Musharraf, who has repeatedly said that he will not sanction U.S. attacks against al-Qaeda targets thought to be regrouping in Pakistan's ungoverned tribal lands along the border with Afghanistan.
In the 8th year of his presidency, are there really still folks who think W will wait for a permission slip? Posted by Orrin Judd at February 2, 2008 3:55 PM
