DUH?:
Bigamist caught out when he invited the same guest to BOTH his 'weddings' (ANDREW LEVY, 12th February 2008, Daily Mail)
The golden rule of getting away with a bigamous wedding must be this: Don't invite anyone who was there the first time round.Sadly, this small yet crucial detail escaped Randolf Edge, 54, in his haste to marry a woman 33 years his junior.
A guest who had also been at his first wedding tipped off King's Lynn Register Office in Norfolk.
"Golden rule" seems out of place there. Posted by Orrin Judd at February 12, 2008 6:04 PM
Golden rule out of place? Not at all. A reasonable man should welcome necessary correction, so by narcing out his buddy one is giving what he would wish to receive.

Posted by: oj at February 12, 2008 8:57 PMI knew of rhe ambiguity when I made my original comment. The article had misused the expression, "golden rule, using the words to mean something like, "rule number one." I was taking the words back to their original meaning of Our Lord's Golden Rule of "Do unto others, etc."
