WHERE'S SAM JACKSON WHEN YOU NEED HIM?

Ton of live snakes found on plane in Vietnam (Thomas Bell, 18/01/2008, Daily Telegraph)

Vietnamese customs officials have discovered a ton of live snakes on a plane.

The illegal cargo - on board a Thai Air flight from Bangkok - was hidden inside 60 ice boxes marked "fresh fish".

Thus the Timezone Rule.

My immediate reaction is, "Why?"

"The non-venomous rat snakes may have been destined for restaurant kitchens in China or Vietnam."

Hmmm. Some good eatin' there!

(Is there anything the Chinese won't eat? Why do I get the feeling that there are there restaurants in Shanghai where Long Pig would be listed if you asked for the right menu?)
