WELL, YOU COULD SAY HE GAVE IT THAT OLD COLLEGE TRY....:

A GOING-AWAY GIFT FROM RUDY? (Matthew E. Berger, 1/28/08, NBC First Read)

Atop each seat in the press section of the Giuliani charter this afternoon sat a baseball -- with Rudy Giuliani’s name scribbled between the stitching.

It seemed like a going-away present from a campaign that has appeared more resigned to its fate in recent days.

...provided that you're referring to dear old Huxley.

Thanks for the Horsefeathers reference, Professor Q.A. Wagstaff.

It's been decades since I saw that movie, but , didn't he (the Prof.) sing a song whose refrain was "I'm against it" ? A song that somehow seems appropriate to today's universities when it comes to independent thought and opinions.

And why don't these films play endlessly on some cable channel, instead of the new dreck they show?

Your proposition may be good,
but let's get one thing understood:
Whatever it is, I'm against it!
And even when you've changed it or condensed it,
I'm against it!
