Hezbollah wants veto in Lebanon (HUSSEIN DAKROUB, 1/02/03, Associated Press)

No president will be elected in Lebanon unless the Hezbollah-led opposition gets veto power in the future government, the leader of the militant group declared Wednesday. [...]

"A solution lies in a partnership through a constitutional guarantee (and) through a veto power for the opposition, which represents more than half of the Lebanese people," Nasrallah said in an interview with the private Lebanese NBN television.

...there should at least be a majority veto.

If there was majority rule in Lebanon years ago, then Lebanon would have ceased to exist. There is plenty of Iranian and Syrian interference in Lebanese politics. To blame the USA for this deadlock is really unacceptable. You hezbollah are to blame for taking Lebanon 20 years back, you and only you. We the Lebanese are not interested in another foreign militia ruling our affairs. Disarm and join the fray and then we can talk and take you seriously. Remember that you are a foreign entity and we dont appreciate your behavior. Anything called the "party of God" is not of interest to the Lebanese. There are no words of peace in your sermons but only of war and threats. You use democracy for your foreign intents. You have no respect for the Lebanese state or its constitution. No matter what the Lebanese politicians offer you it will never be enough as your goals are those of Syria and Iran and not of Lebanon. We are all for Palestine, but just not this way. You need to disarm as from what I understand even the Iranians are getting tired of you with your foreign swiss accounts and unaccounted funds.

Bingo! There is no Lebanon. A state that can only be maintained by oppressing the Shi'a majority must be destroyed, one way or another.
