CRUSADING JUST KEEPS GETTING SAFER:
US hails success in anti-ballistic missile test (Richard Holt, 05/12/2007, Daily Telegraph)
A US fighter jet has successfully completed testing of ground-breaking new weapons technology capable of destroying ballistic missiles before they fire off into space. [...]Posted by Orrin Judd at December 5, 2007 11:39 AMThe new system, called the Net-Centric Airborne Defence Element (NCADE) - can be deployed from both fighter jets and unmanned drones, increasing its versatility in combat situations.
The test at White Sands in New Mexico involved an F-16 fighter that fired two modified AIM-9X missiles at a research rocket.

I can't imagine even trying to put up an air force or ground force against the Americans with the reliability and lethalness of the US weapons. The only thing left to counter US domination is sheer numbers (more ships, planes, tanks, troops but you'd have do it all at once, so in theory, we'd see it coming)and what's left semi open is the millenium type gun, ground/space based lasers, UAVs and maybe cyber attack.

The country that wants to make the move is going to have to go to its people for some serious belt tightening.
We don't see anybody making moves like that. On the contry, we see more consumerism and Westernization.
So that's the real end of history: not a bang, not a whimper--a "ka-ching!"
