Bruno, Raoul, the Republicans are neither corrupt or incompetent. They have three front war going on. They have to fight the federal bureaucracy(controlled and staffed with FDR's people), the Main stream press(filled with Kennedy's fellow travelers), and the people too pure to touch the base clay(The Republicans have betrayed us!(tariffs, education, ports, borders, etc., etc., etc.,) they must be taught a lesson!). Bush and the Republicans have done so much while everyone else stands around and complains. As far as corruption, it's toe tapping vs. murder. How do you even fit that into your head? Is there any "scandal" so low that the Republican rank and file will stand and laugh? Our "scandals" don't even have money or sex in them. Now I'm told that Watergate wasn't a crime. When it comes to corruption, the Republicans need to worry about it less, not more. Unless of course, you like being out of power because then it's "Not Your Fault". Yes, standing on the sidelines kibitzing the players is fun, but not the act of an adult is it?
