NOT QUITE HOLMES VS. MORIARITY:

Marshals use ruse to arrest convicted tax evaders in New Hampshire (The Associated Press, October 4, 2007)

Federal agents posing as supporters arrested a couple who had holed up in their rural, fortress-like New Hampshire home for months, avoiding their conviction on tax evasion charges and vowing an armed confrontation if authorities tried to take them to prison.

Ed and Elaine Brown were arrested at their home without incident, the U.S. Marshal's office in New Hampshire said.

"They invited us in, and we escorted them out," U.S. Marshal Stephen Monier said Friday, releasing the first details of the previous night's arrests.

Antinomian narcissism at work: one disagrees with the law, be it taxation, immigration or conscription, so the law may be disregarded. Homey don't think so.
