COME BACK, HATCHET MAN, ALL IS FORGIVEN:
Pelosi faults GOP in Iraq war: Says efforts to chart new course were blocked (Scott Helman, September 25, 2007, Boston Globe)
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi expressed frustration yesterday at the public perception that Democrats in Congress had failed to end the war in Iraq, saying the blame lies with congressional Republicans who have blocked all efforts to chart a new course. [...]"We have to make it very clear to the American people that it was George Bush's war [but] it is now the Republicans in Congress's war," she said.
The idea that the Reformation of the Middle East is fundamentally a project of George W. Bush and the faith-based Party seems fairly unobjectionable, though it requires a rather sketchy understanding of republican government to think of these as Republican wars rather than American wars. At any rate, does anyone expect the media and the Left to respond to her comments with the same fury they directed at Bob Dole when he referred to the "Democrat wars" of the Twentieth century? Responsibility sucks like a Hoover, doesn't it, Speaker Pelosi?

Or will Rear Admiral Pelosi get the same reaction that Newt and the boys got when they whined about how Clinton was blocking all their great initiatives and even made them get off the back of the plane?
I hope Dole mentioned all five, not to mention comparative death tolls.
