ONE LESS EXCUSE FOR NOT EATING BEEF:

Fish-eating men face increased stroke risk (The Local, 12th June 2007)

Men who consume large quantities of fish run an increased risk of stroke, a new study has found.

The team of Swedish researchers behind the study were surprised by the results, which have just been published in the British Journal of Nutrition.


Fish are sport, not food.

We're omnivores. Many sources of protein and fat are probably more healthy than limited selections. Plus I like to eat fresh fish.

The Norwegian cabinet minister for health, I met her on a train from Oslo to Bergen, explained: " The Norwegian national time frame of greatest public health was during the German occupation, when the national diet, of necessity, consisted largely of the potatoes they could grow and the fish they could catch."
