Don't know if you're familiar with Anthony Bourdain's show "No Reservations" on the Traveln channel, but in general it's well worth watching.

Of particular note is this year's episode where he goes to the Tex/Mex border, in which he, and the border folk he speaks with, rip the nativists, including the ridiculous wall they want built.

(His "Kitchen Confidential" and his mystery fiction are also worth checking out.)
