SPRINGTIME FOR DADULLAH:
Top Taliban commander killed in Afghan fighting (The Associated Press, May 13, 2007)
The Taliban's most prominent military commander, a one-legged fighter who orchestrated an ethnic massacre and a rash of beheadings, was killed in a U.S.-led military operation in southern Afghanistan, officials said Sunday.Mullah Dadullah, a top lieutenant of Taliban leader Mullah Omar, was killed Saturday in the southern province of Helmand, said Said Ansari, the spokesman for Afghanistan's intelligence service. A NATO statement confirmed his death, saying it had dealt the insurgency "a serious blow."
Maybe they don't get how a fearsome Spring offensive is supposed to work? Posted by Orrin Judd at May 13, 2007 10:26 AM
It's because they've just gone through another Brutal Afghan Winterâ„¢.

We're showing them how. As are the Canadians, Dutch, Danes, and even the Brits. Talibunnies are rather resistant to learning, however, which is fine by me.
So Mullah Dadullah is now Mullah Deadullah.
