Those first two sentences are nonsensical. Eating eggs for breakfast instead of a bagel or something similar IS "cutting out carbs." Sheesh.
Posted by: b at May 3, 2007 5:36 PMIn the 18th century breakfast was a low-carb meal: eggs, bacon, sausage, and beef w/gravy. Circa 1900 Kellogg started pushing corn flakes as a health food. Around 1960 cereal companies started adding large amounts of pure cane sugar to their cereals, thus giving us the diabetes-inducing glucose binge we enjoy today.
