WHY CAN'T THE FILM BE SELF-LOATHING, LIKE I AM?:
Spider-Man 3 (Leo Lewis, 4/19/07, Times of London)
Also disappointing is the inability of the director, Sam Raimi, to end the romp without a fleeting shot of the American flag. The Stars and Stripes just happens to be fluttering behind Spidey as he makes his triumphal return to honour, probity and good honest fist-fighting.Posted by Orrin Judd at April 19, 2007 5:52 AM
Honour. Probity. Honesty.
If these are worthy of your sneers then you are, indeed, evil.

The BBC has a cushy job waiting for Leo.

Posted by: Mike Earl at April 19, 2007 10:50 AMOK, people, let's go over this one more time: When you submit a comment, even if you get that "timed-out" error message, DO NOT KEEP SUBMITTING YOUR COMMENT! The page is flaky about this sometimes, but the comment will show up, and you'll just look silly.
