THIS GAME WAS SO GOOD...:

Red Sox, Manny rally to beat Jays with Yanks on deck (CBS SportsLine.com, 4/19/07)

Manny Ramirez and Alex Cora sent the Boston Red Sox home with a victory heading into their first series of the year against the New York Yankees.

Ramirez hit a tying, two-run homer in the eighth inning, Cora had a go-ahead triple in the ninth and the Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-3 Thursday.

...we just went from NH to the Cape by way of RI, and only missed CT because The Wife woke up.

You call that a rally? How bout coming back from 3 down with 2 outs in the 9th? Culminating in an A-Rod a-bomb to win it.

Get ready for Boston massacre 3.0! It'll be the more humiliating for y'all b/c of the pitchers we'll be starting.

Speaking of driving around to catch the end of the game, I was getting home last night just as the bottom of the 8th was ending in the REal Sox game. Luckily I just had time to park and run in the house to catch Buerle close it out in the 9th.

I was even driving by Sox Park on the Ryan earlier in the evening just as Thome hit his homerun in the 3rd and was thinking if I didn't have somewhere to go with the wife I might see if I could get a cutrate ticket to catch the last few innings. Damn.

How about a no no? The other Sox are still in it too. Hey Orrin want to put together a bet that may involve you buying me a hat this year?

Ray:

Season records for the respective Sox?

Ozzie would certainly never have yanked Halladay, which cost the Jays the game.
