Appropriate photo, Orrin. That whole entourage should catch a lot of flak for their unauthorized Foreign policy venture.

This is so wacky that it actually fits in with the daring hypothesis that America is leading the entire jailhouse on to self-destruction.

The shot of Chamberlain and Hitler fits in with this, if we hold that Germany had been baited into general war four or five years ahead of its development curve by Poland and Great Britain.

By this conception, the jailhouse is to be enabled to dream of easy conquest so that their gong-under and reformation may be acomplished.

Not looking at the picture because if it shows her dancing with Baby Assad, I may just ralph!

Did you see the photo at Drudge of Pelosi wearing a hijab?

pj:

LGF ran that photo, and when I saw it, there were 577 comments on the thread.

Pelosi may have a 'safe' seat, but that picture is going to be in more than one campaign ad, to be sure.

I wonder if Baby Assad kept her waiting outside for 6 hours, like his father did to Warren Christopher.

Pelosi's hajib was out of season as well. It had fall leaves on it! How out of sync can she be?

I don't have a problem with her wearing a head scarf. She was in a mosque apparently. You enter someone's house of worship you abide by the rules. In the pre-Vatican II days in Italy, you had to cover your head if you were a woman touring a church. I wear a yarmulke on the rare occasion I'm in a synagogue. There's plenty of reasons to dislike Nancy, and the trip to Syria is one of them, but not covering her head in a mosque.

Jim - What is laudable courtesy toward a peaceable mosque in a peaceable country is despicable weakness in a terror-sponsoring dictatorship. To make a show of respect for goodness is praiseworthy; to make a show of respect for evil is vicious.

If she felt she was in an impossible situation -- if she believed that not covering her head would offend good Muslims elsewhere -- then she should not have gone to Syria.

Exactly. The problem isn't bowing to Allah but to Assad.

Churchill said to Chamberlain after Munich, "You had a choice between shame and war. You have chosen shame, and you will get war."

She didn't have to tour a mosque and boy, what I would have done in front of John the Baptist's tomb - BTW why do they have that?

Should dig him up, get his DNA for future reference.

She does have to tour mosques, just to ameliorate her ignorance.

Britain would have survived a little shame, it didn't survive Churchill's war.

Whooo! - OJ's trolling now, tossing down those 100-lb. manhole covers.

The war of German revenge was going to be fought, no matter what. 1939 was probably as good a time as any. The only way the Brits wouldn't have been part of it was for a Nazi-symp to be in office (and such a PM wouldn't have lasted).

Hitler was simply an Applied Darwinists--believing the Anglo-Saxons to be Germanic he had no quarrel with Britain.
