Obese men less likely to commit suicide, study finds (Denise Gellene, March 13, 2007, LA Times)

A new study has found that obese men have a much lower risk of suicide, a finding that scientists think may be related to their higher production of insulin and other hormones that affect mood.

Of course, once these guys have sqeezed every last erg of insulin out of their beta cells, they will have to buy it from the CVS.

It could also be that they are just to lazy to do the hard work of suicide.

Or the rope keeps breaking, or they can't get their chubby fingers on the trigger, or their massive body weight makes it really hard to overdose on anything.

Suicide may be slow, as well as fast.

All in all, we are jollier as we did our graves with a knife and fork.
