THERE IS NO CHINA:

China fury at Chen's Taiwan call (BBC, 3/05/07)

China has hit out at Taiwan's President Chen Shui-bian after he made a strongly pro-independence speech on Sunday.

Mr Chen said Taiwan should pursue independence, write a new constitution and change its official name from "Republic of China" to Taiwan.

China's Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing said anyone wanting to split Taiwan from the mainland was a "criminal".

Poland and South Vietnam are the only allies we've treated as shabbily as Taiwan.

Yes, Li is correct. His words should be immortalized for all time. His logic is irrefutable. Anyone who wants to split Taiwan from the mainland is a criminal. It then follows that everyone who supports and is a member of the Chinese Communist Party is a criminal.

Why? Because it is the autocracy, corruption, incompetence, and bloody misrule of the Party that has split Taiwan from China by convincing the majority of Taiwan's citizens they have nothing to gain and everything to lose in a political union with the Chinese mainland.
