ALL SCOOTER HAD TO DO WAS TELL THE TRUTH:

Case Closed? (John McCary, 3/06/07, Wall Street Journal)

"I do not expect to file any additional charges," special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald declared at a news conference after a jury convicted I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby. "We're all going back to our day jobs."

That would be one of the most remarkable outcomes of the government's CIA leak investigation since any number of earlier independent counsel investigations have dragged on for years, winding up far afield from the original probe.
