PLEASE, MITCH, NOT AGAIN...:
Democrats back away from Iraq plan (JULIE HIRSCHFELD DAVIS, 2/26/07, Associated Press)
Democratic leaders backed away from aggressive plans to limit President Bush's war authority, the latest sign of divisions within their ranks over how to proceed.Posted by Orrin Judd at February 26, 2007 10:32 PMSenate Majority Leader Harry Reid (news, bio, voting record), D-Nev., said Monday he wanted to delay votes on a measure that would repeal the 2002 war authorization and narrow the mission in
Iraq.
They call the wind Maria, but payback is a Mitch.

Posted by: erp at February 27, 2007 8:35 AMI guess we'll start seeing more stories about Reid's overall corruption, especially if he becomes the sacrificial lamb for the nutroots and the press.
But they seem to be going after everyone lately - Patty Murray and Jay Inslee (who both voted against the war) were castigated at a meeting in WA last week because the Dems aren't moving forward on impeachment proceedings.
