DON'T NEED TO COOK THE BOOKS IF KHAMENEI IS TAKING CARE OF THE MAHMOUD PROBLEM:

U.S. can't prove Iran link to Iraq strife: Despite pledges to show evidence, officials have repeatedly put off presenting their case. (Maura Reynolds, February 3, 2007, LA Times)

Bush administration officials acknowledged Friday that they had yet to compile evidence strong enough to back up publicly their claims that Iran is fomenting violence against U.S. troops in Iraq.

Easy enough to manufacture a pretext later if we decide we need to strike.

So the reports, from credible and admin sources, of captured Iranian soldiers, IED devices stamped "made in Iran" and so forth is all bogus? My bed is they are playing rope a dope allowing Dems/MSM to scream no evidence and then bring it forth.

They aren't credible. Most of the weapons are made in America. Are we going to attack ourselves?
