NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS:
Resolution is entirely too formal a term for what are really just our best intentions, but it's never a bad time to focus on a couple things you'd like to be better about. I've two for 2007 and would welcome you sharing yours:
(1) Walk for thirty minutes a day.
(2) Write my next book: Why all Comedy is Conservative
Posted by Orrin Judd at December 29, 2006 10:50 AMI've kept only one New Year's Resolution, and it's one I made years ago: never make another New Year's Resolution.
I would definitely buy a copy of Why All Comedy is Conservative.
I resolve to read blogs for less than 6 hours per day.

Posted by: oj at December 29, 2006 8:22 PMWhen you are a real fixer upper, it's best to start slow so I'll go with these three:
1) Quit smoking
2) Exercise more regularly
3) Find a church and begin attending regularly.
While visiting friends in Las Vegas they took me to midnight mass on Christmas Eve. It was my first time attending services in 28 years. It was powerful.
