MAKING CAFETERIA CATHOLICS LOOK LIKE FUNDAMENTALISTS:

This is too rich: The article says they follow the Spinoza interpretation of God and will apparently incorporate that into their ceremonies. Stay tuned: "We pray to you oh Yahweh, useful metaphorical conception for literary expression of the human predicament. Please heed our figurative pleas for assistance."

Heck, I've got a few secular priests on the West Virginia side of the family. Tax purposes, m'boy, tax purposes.

Doesn't Ahmadinejad view Jewishness as a 'culture"?

I don't like this. Judaism without God is what?

Is it a matter of culture or a matter of birth? If the latter, or if the so-called "culture" is inseparable from race, it really is racism, as the anti-Semites accuse.

Paganism.

I feel bad for Spinoza... he may well have been some kind of pantheist, but anyone who spent so much time on logical proofs of God's existance is a very poor athiest.

Judaism without God is what?

A social club for the purpose of promoting indigestion.

If they give up deli food as well, you may as well talk about the bladeless knife without a handle.
