IT CAN'T BE A COINCIDENCE THAT THEY EVOLVED ALONGSIDE EACH OTHER:

World's tallest man saves dolphin (BBC, 12/14/06)

The world's tallest man has saved two dolphins by using his long arms to reach into their stomachs and pull out dangerous plastic shards. [...]

Guinness World Records list Mr Bao, 54, as the world's tallest living man at 2.36m (7ft 8.95in).

The adaptation involved is almost spooky.

Don't forget changing light bulbs in ceiling fixtures. And getting the Frisbee (or jart) out of the gutters.

I bet if we had the statistics, we'd find that dolphins have been pushing drowning tall people into shore, and drowning short people out to sea, for millenia. It's less sophisticated than the white mice's way of manipulating _homo sapiens_, but it got the job done.
