ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF ANTI-ROME, SODOMY AND THE LEASH:
We are biased, admit the stars of BBC News (SIMON WALTERS, 10/22/06, Mail on Sunday)
It was the day that a host of BBC executives and star presenters admitted what critics have been telling them for years: the BBC is dominated by trendy, Left-leaning liberals who are biased against Christianity and in favour of multiculturalism. [...]At the secret meeting in London last month, which was hosted by veteran broadcaster Sue Lawley, BBC executives admitted the corporation is dominated by homosexuals and people from ethnic minorities, deliberately promotes multiculturalism, is anti-American, anti-countryside and more sensitive to the feelings of Muslims than Christians.
One veteran BBC executive said: 'There was widespread acknowledgement that we may have gone too far in the direction of political correctness.
'Unfortunately, much of it is so deeply embedded in the BBC's culture, that it is very hard to change it.'
Culture is a misnomer.

Thus we are hearing that the BBC is in the hands of a fairy ring, just like the congressional page program.
Can we now understand how enemity toward the folk permeates these institutions?
Posted by: Lou Gots at October 22, 2006 1:30 PMYou'd love to ask some of the BBCers referred to in this piece what they actually think the more radicalized Muslims in Great Britian would want to do to their lifestyles, were the policies of Bush and Blair to be reversed and the radicals' demands were to be mollified under a different government.
I have no doubt that the BBC staff thinks it's as intellectually advanced as the folks in the major media outlets on this side of the pond do, and like them they haven't given thought one to the idea that its their culture and lifestyle as much as anything else that the radicals detest about the West and want to destroy, not that George Bush is against abortion, or Tony Blair isn't supportive enough of the European Union, or that if the troops are removed from Iraq the radicals will go back to being just as peaceful as they were under Bill Clinton (minus the first WTC bombing, the Kobar Towers attacks, the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole, the African embassy attacks, etc).

They certainly need to change. Here in China I had a choice of 2 Western news channels for home TV. Either CNN or BBC. I chose BBC for their photography which overall is better but after a few years I could no longer stand them so cancelled and opted for neither one. Happier for it since there's the internet.

(The problem being that they occasionally do tell the truth and the packaging is often engaging.)
