Kim sorry about N. Korea nuclear test (MSNBC, October, 20th, 2006)

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il expressed regret about his country’s nuclear test to a Chinese delegation and said Pyongyang would return to international nuclear talks if Washington backs off a campaign to financially isolate the country, South Korean media reported Friday.

“If the U.S. makes a concession to some degree, we will also make a concession to some degree, whether it be bilateral talks or six-party talks,” Kim was quoted as telling a Chinese envoy, the mass-circulation Chosun Ilbo reported, citing a diplomatic source in China.

Kim told the Chinese delegation that “he is sorry about the nuclear test,” the newspaper reported.

Well then, let the healing begin!

Next we'll be hearing that his nuclear ambitions are a result of being abused as a child.

Let the healing begin, but keep the blockade in place.

Joke all you want, but our "Great Leader" will continue to play along with this obscene charade, as he plays along with more UN orchestrated handwringing.

Don't worry, be happy.

I was watching a show last night on FDR's pathetic kowtowing to Stalin during the last days of WWII. It was plainly obvious that Stalin had no intention of being at all honest in his dealings and yet FDR insisted in treating him as if Stalin was an honorable, upstanding leader of a nation instead of a brutal thug. While Kim is only a low-rent C-list version of Stalin, expecting him to deal in an honest manner is a waste of time.

Mike -

All morning I can't help but picture the Kim Jong Il puppet version singing Brenda Lee's I'm Sorry.

Politics is the art of the possible and our great, and possibly greatest, leader is doing all that's possible and a lot that's darn near impossible. Sheesh? What do you want of the man? He's motivated China, allegedly our great enemy, to read the little madman the riot act and he's motivated the "sane" segment of Islam to read the riot act to the slighter bigger madman. At home he's gotten terrorists out of our court system, and on and on and on ... and yet you're still not satisfied.

If I didn't have grandchildren, I'd say okay, go ahead and let the Dems back in and see how you'll like it. However, since that's not an option, stop yer whining and get OUT THE VOTE.
