SHOULDN'T THIS STORY BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ARTIST'S SKETCH FROM MOEBIUS?:
Former TWA workers picket their own union (Associated Press, September 8, 2006)
Former TWA flight attendants picketed their own union Friday, protesting what they say is the labor group's unwillingness to help them get back their jobs, which were lost after the 2001 terror attacks.Posted by Orrin Judd at September 8, 2006 4:53 PM

All TWA employees were screwed by their unions when American bought what was left in 2001. But the flight attendants got it the worst. Both American and the American 'local' broke promises made to the TWA employees within hours of the closing. Granted, nothing was going to help the airline employees at that point (given the collapse of profitability, even before 9/11), but if American and the union lose the class action suit in NY, it will be very interesting to watch how the old TWA employees are compensated.
